The Christmas Island Style elves have been working hard all year long to be sure we have plenty of ‘magic’ in our holiday events. Whether you’re a long-time resident, a snowbird or visiting for just a short time, there is a holiday event for you to enjoy. Check out the schedule of events for Christmas 2023:
Friday, November 24th Santa’s Arrival – 5:00 PM Marco Island Academy lobby. The kids will love all the excitement of Santa’s visit and it’s a great time for those cherished holiday photos.
Saturday, December 2nd Annual Tree Lighting and Community Celebration – 6:00 PM Veterans Community Park. One of the island’s premier holiday events and is a must to kick off the holiday season in style. Bring your chairs and arrive early for the best seats.
Tuesday, December 5th Canine Pet Parade – CJ’s on the Bay 5:30-7:30 PM If you’re a dog lover, this event is for you! Come and applaud for your favorite canine and holiday attire.
Saturday, December 9th Annual Street Parade – 6:30 PM A grand Marco Island event. The parade starts at Balfour and San Marco Road and ends at the corner of Barfield and San Marco Road. You will begin to see the best viewing areas roped off starting a full day ahead.
Friday, December 15th Movie in the Park featuring “FROZEN” 5:30 PM at Veterans Community Park Bring your chair or blanket, snacks and hot chocolate available for purchase.
Saturday, December 16th Cookies and Milk with Santa at Mackle Park at 10:00 AM See Santa fly in from the North Pole via helicopter, enjoy cookies and milk, fun and games. Another great photo opportunity.
Saturday, December 16th Marco Island Annual Christmas Boat Parade – 6:00 PM All the excitement of the street parade but on the water. Another island holiday tradition. This event
Starts near the Snook Inn and ends at the Esplanade.
